The gospel of the cross

Published by thuli under Testimony

The question I ask my self is, ‘Do I really understand what the gospel of the cross means, or is it just words that I hear and I speak about?’ You know when Jesus said that unless we have a righteousness beyond that of the Pharisees, we will not see the kingdom of God, I realise how I can be the same: full of knowledge but no reality. I’m really starting to realise that talk is cheap. When Jesus says in Matthew 16 vs 24, “If anyone would come after Me, He must deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me”, this is big my friends. We really need to cry to the Lord to reveal to us the fullness of this verse so that we can truly follow Him. In 1 Corinthians 4 vs 20, Paul speaks about how the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk, but of power. May the Lord open our eyes to see.

Published by Moses under Management, Time Management

Time is a resource that God has given us. The Lord allows us to decide how we want to spend our time. It’s like the parable of the talents Matthew 24: 14-30. When the master went away he left each servant with an amount and a choice. On his return each one had to give an account of what they did with the amount entrusted to them. Continue Reading »
