”God is our refuge & strength a very present help in times of trouble ” (Ps 46:1)
This is not an eschatological discourse trying to align current world phenomenon with eschatological passages, but it is a biblical solution to all current world phenomenon. The more i watch BBC i am convinced that Jesus truly is the only answer to all that is happening. Currently the world is being shaken by Cyclone Dean. In scripture God uses storms to show His might and sovereignty. In Gen 7 we meet a cyclone worse than Cyclone Dean. This storm shows all men who heard the words of God through Noah that they are but man he is God righteous creator of all, all their plans, lives, business are brought to naught, only those who heard Noah’s word are saved! Warning to all men there are storms coming that will shake all that can be shaken but only those in the ark of salvation Jesus Christ will escape.

Then we meet another storm in Jonah 1:4 its purpose was to turn a rebellious Jonah to God. Somethings happen to turn man him back to his, some storms we face are simply to bring us back to God (Amos 4:9-11). Like the disciples in Matt 14:24-26 many are going through many storms but fear the Christian message of salvation in Jesus, but if we accept it and come we shall walk over many of our fears like Peter. Many are like the disciples in Matt 8:23-27 in many storms we face God is our last refuge we try all before we call on the one above all !(Col 1:16).
