“God is our refuge strength a very present help in times of trouble” (Ps 46:1)
Jesus not only stills the storm but brings a stillness in our hearts in the midst of the storms. In Acts 27:13-26 the Apostle Paul is in a ship with many other people most of them prisoners. Involved in a fierce storm all give up hope of being saved (Acts 27:20). As Christians we are in this world with many still in bondage being ravaged by the storms of life, many have lost hope & tried all they know and can do in their power (Acts 27:17-19). I must admit as Christians we do go through the same trials as you all, Cyclone Dean has affected both believers and unbelievers but we have a God who speaks to our hearts and stands with us in it all (Acts 27:23).
Storms are inevitable from Cyclone Dean there is sure to be another hurricane ; today you struggle with one thing tomorrow you are assured of something else, but we have a secure shelter Jesus Christ! Don’t fear him but call on him cry for your life don’t be of little faith believe in Him .Don’t perish like those that doubted Noah’s warning; the storm destroyed them today i offer you help, refuge, shelter from the storm. I offer you Jesus accept him as you savior to deliver you from all you are in and Lord to direct you and guide you on how to live. Here is a shelter tried and tested by many from many nations, races, culture he is still the sure shelter. Simply acknowledge his lordship maybe the storm is there to show you your humanity and ned of a savior. Acknowledge your waywardness caused by your sin; you are in what you are because of your sin but Jesus can help you acknowledge in your heart your need for Him believing in Him (Rom 10:9) and let Him save you pray to Him ”all who call on Him will be saved” (Rom 10:13), today acknowledge Jesus as Lord and savior of your life.
