For the past 3 weeks the Lord has really been challenging me on prayer. I realized that the Lord just does not want a simple “quiet time” with me but he requires me to be in fellowship with him all the time. I obviously cannot do this on my own, that I need to draw my strength from God. Jesus says he is the bread of life and we need to part take of him, which simply means to have a relationship with him where he is the source of our lives.
Prayer needs to be a lifestlye and going to a prayer meeting is not enough. Anytime we have alone we could spend it with God. Once we start to seek the Lord, we then begin to grow closer to God and he starts to reveal to us things of the spirit. I’ll be honest I’m not yet there but I trust the Lord has seen my desire and he will give me the Grace to fulfill it.
The only way revival will come is if as Christians we individually start to fellowship with God. Its time we came out of our busy schedules and realized that Christ must be the first priority in our lives, before our business, school work, friends, family and yes, even our church responsibilities. Remember, we are only stewards
of what the lord gives. Amen

Yes brother! I don’t know you actually!! But it’s so true what u’ve written.. The Lord has also been confronting me in that area and how we need to give the “best of our time” to Him..and we’re often soooo busy…we don’t take the time to seek Him in everything that we’re doing..and that’s the basis of it all…we can’t serve the Lord without Him!! The Lord is really challenging us…

Prayer is the key for you to know how close you are to God and the key to draw you closer to God

This topic is near and dear to my heart so I will sow some seeds of truth to you all in this I hope. Prayer in the flesh can never be satisfied. It’s demands always change. Flesh gets tired – it gets confused – it gets frustrated and it also gets selfish. Therefore prayer in the flesh should be avoided at all costs. So how can you do this? 1Th 5:17 Pray without ceasing.
The only way to do this is in Spirit! The new Spirit we have through Christ enables us to enter into the Holy of Hollies. To come to the Throne Room boldly. I can’t come near God in my flesh with Boldness since in my flesh is no good thing – RIGHT? So Prayer is relational not positional!
You said another term so undone in today’s Christianity – Fellowship!
1Jn 1:3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
Fellowship =
G2842
κοινωνία
koinōnia
koy-nohn-ee’-ah
From G2844; partnership, that is, (literally) participation, or (social) intercourse, or (pecuniary) benefaction: – (to) communicate (-ation), communion, (contri-), distribution, fellowship.
Here the picture should start to become clearer. Look at these words!
Let me show ya in this way. My wife and I are in fellowship. Does that mean we are always talking? NOPE! We are in Partnership – does that mean we always doing same thing? NOPE! It means as Partners we do whatever we are to do to reach same goal!
Intercourse (get mind out of gutter LOL) this has Nothing to do with sex – this is about being ONE, as we are to be with God! This my friends is Prayer!
I will be glad to share more if there is a response from this.

I am trying to pray as often as I can about subjects that are very close to my heart and that mean a lot to me. I have been praying for revival in my area and tonight I went to a service at my church and we are having about 45 more people attending my church!!! It is absolutely amazing what God can do for you if you only pray for it!! =]
