The question I ask my self is, ‘Do I really understand what the gospel of the cross means, or is it just words that I hear and I speak about?’ You know when Jesus said that unless we have a righteousness beyond that of the Pharisees, we will not see the kingdom of God, I realise how I can be the same: full of knowledge but no reality. I’m really starting to realize that talk is cheap. When Jesus says in Matthew 16 vs 24, “If anyone would come after Me, He must deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me”, this is big my friends. We really need to cry to the Lord to reveal to us the fullness of this verse so that we can truly follow Him. In 1 Corinthians 4 vs 20, Paul speaks about how the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk, but of power. May the Lord open our eyes to see.

I totally understand what you say my brother.
For myself, I have the feeling that we are very-well protected in Mauritius. The word of God is preached every day. We hear, speak about the cross everyday. And what can I do with that ?
What’s happening tomorrow when we go in different places in the world ?
For myself, I need not only to listen the word of God but most of all to receive the fullness of the gospel of the cross.
For that, we need to come back to the simplicity, as the beginning during the times of first apostle (Paul, Pierre,..).

Actually i dont know you but its so true what you have written brother.I just join the church at curepipe and i can say that really the gospel of the cross is not a gospel that make us happy just for the sake of listening but it touched our heart and show us our state.Where we realised that we need to pleased the lord and living acoording to his will.we should lay down our life into his hand for he has already a wonderful plan for each one of us.Sometimes we formed our own plan and project but we should realised that our plan is pleasing our flesh and our desire but not the lord
