I trust that by now you have managed to find yourself a dairy and are getting the hang of scheduling your days. I would like to hear from you and hear your different experiences.

Today I will give a few tips on a few things you should include in your dairy. Because we lead such busy live we sometimes over look important dates especially when they are in the distant future.

Bills/Payments / Subscriptions
It’s important to make sure you pay your bills on time otherwise you run the risk of being charged unnecessary penalty fees. We often forget to pay our bills and end up running around last minute trying to make a plan. Good time management will ensure that you remember to settle your accounts on time. Make sure that in your diary you place a reminder. Make sure your reminder is two or so days before the due date. This give you time to organize yourself. See the example below.

Deadlines
Make sure you also place reminders for deadlines. Perhaps you have a school assignment due in three weeks. Place a few reminders so that you can allocate some time towards the assignment in your daily schedule. I remember during school holidays I would often forget about my holiday homework. I would remember a few days before school reopened and had to work under a lot of pressure and unnecessary stress.

Important Dates
Important dates must also be noted and diarized. You can’t remember everything so make sure you diarise important dates like youth camps or conferences otherwise you will miss out.

Don’t forget to check your dairy and update it daily.
