That first day at the camp was really amazing. I got to experience a baptism session where they basically make a way thru the bamboo to a river, they ask the Lord to purify the water and they baptize all those who want to get baptized. They also give the opportunity to any on lookers who had just come from the village by interest. Then that evening i poured out my heart about my life and how Jesus had grabbed hold of my family and eventually my own heart. After that i went all out and braved the camp food, it was good! I also had a great time sharing with the apostle’s wife who i found out is a strong woman who really loves Jesus and a real mother figure in the church. I then went to sleep sharing a bed with another man of God, and yes, i took that opportunity to speak to him about the conference and invite him personally. The next day was the last camp day. That morning i was invited to share which i did and not only did i share what was going with the youth in mauritius but also went on and encouraged the youth with what the Lord had put in my heart for them. It was then the apostle who took the last meeting sharing about being ready for the return of the Lord and how that hope must take us through all the persecutions that we may face. I was also warmly thanked by all for having come and each man of God took five minutes just to share what the Lord had put in their heart for me and to encourage me in my service for the Lord. It was a rich and priceless experience… Israel Abogo email: lisraelien2006@yahoo.fr
