Testimony – Matt

Even having been in Mauritius for six months being in the Church surrounded by those who are hungry for the Lord, we see that the Road continues. Now in the USA with Grace Fellowship, a small Church, with less people to be surrounded by, we can so clearly see the road in front of us. The Lord is so faithful to show us, even when we take our life in to our own hands, His plans and what he desires for our lives and that we can stray far, but His Love and Grace is there to bring us right back to the cross where we can see our state and be broken and come back to the heart of the Lord and take our Cross.
God has placed us in a place where He knows we need to be and it is so encouraging to be with even the few brothers here that have taken the road ahead of us, and to see the Lord through their lives, and the work that has been done in them.
Sometimes we feel that, “if only I were somewhere else, then it would be easier to give my life.”
For me for the longest time, it was…”if only I was back in Mauritius with all the guys and the church there and this and that.” But the Lord has made it so clear to me over the last few months how I am here in America in His will, that I am Here not for myself, but for a far greater picture, for part of the Lords plan! What a grace what and honor, to be in a place and know that we are there because it is the Plan Of The Lord!

It hasn’t been the easiest time, but I know that the Grace of the Lord is here and is more than able to comfort and take care of me. For me it is so encouraging to here that we all go through similar times and even though our roads are not the same and we face different things, the Lord is uniting our hearts and bringing us together for his purpose.
