How many of us try to walk on our road of the cross carrying many heavy suitcases? Galatians 5 v 1 says “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened by a yoke of slavery.” Today I realise that the Lord’s desire is for us to follow him in freedom. Everytime I pick up one of these suitcases…..pride, anger, fear, living by principle, a hard heart it makes it so difficult to take another step. I am encouraged that each day the Lord’s grace is there for me, all I need to do is turn my heart to him and leave my suitcases at his feet.
